All apologies and no excuses

Yes, it's true. As with all resolutions, it's about upkeep, and this week I've been letting my blog fall by the wayside. No worries, because I have CONTENT people. I've been very busy working up a new band, THE HILL COUNTRY REVUE, and should have clips of our first rehearsal posted later today. With NMA on hiatus after this tour, it's very important I stay active and play shows.

NMA were straight-up heinous last night in Starkville, MS. In the excitement of the release of our new record, HERNANDO, we played too many new songs and alienated the audience. It's a weird time for us. We are going through quite a shake up and I'm afraid it's coming across on stage... Oh well, we crushed it in Birmingham last weekend. I have footage from that night I will be posting as well..

Sign my guest book and start some heated discussions on the message board.. don't let me down bitches.

I thought you guys sounded pretty good, was diggin the new stuff... to be honest I almost expected it because the cd came out that day. As a whole, I enjoyed the experience. I noticed a couple of off moments... no live show is ever perfect, but it's nice to know that you take such great pride in your craft and strive for that. Have to take a listen to the show. J dawg recorded the show and works across town. He said I could get a copy, so I guess I'll re evaluate when I get my hands on the recording and see if I get HEINOUS out of it the second go around.

Hey Cody! Seeing your stuff here is like a breath of fresh air. THANK you. Love to hear you thought that show was heinous. I doubt it--but good to know how you're thinking. Can't wait to see the band in Boston on Sunday.

i felt like the show in starkville turned out pretty good except it should of been way more people there supporting the music.. ricks was so pathetic when blind melon was there, you couldn't even getta drink and there sound was way to distorted.. NMA did a tremendous job compared to blind melon in my opinion...anyways see ya'll in memphis and nashville in feb.

NMA live in Chicago House of Blues
