When a Plan Comes Together

The Hill Country Revue reconvened in full force at Zebra Ranch studio and cranked out 12 songs for our first record. Needless to say I'm very relieved and excited to  hear how good this band is. I love it when a plan comes together. Aaron Julison from Kid Rock co-produced the record with me. After our work was done in MS we drove up to Knoxville for his show last weekend. All I can say is WOW! The Kid Rock Revival is amazing- three solid hours of relentless entertainment. They switch from Rev Run to Dickey Betts effortlessly. I had the best seat in the house. After the show I was up on KR's bus listening to Rev Charlie Jackson and dancing with local hotties. It doesn't get much more fun than that..The next day I met up with Luther in Nashville and hopped on the bus with The Black Crowes. Off I went to a second big rock show in as many days. Luther sounds excellent with BC. I agree that when they signed Luther it was the best deal since the Louisiana Purchase. Good move on their part! Both the Black Crowes and Kid Rock/Twisted Brown Trucker Band were so cool and hospitable to me all weekend. I got nothing but love for them.

So here is some footage of things starting to happen for the HCR. It's coming together folks..

I'm so excited to see and hear more from HCR! The new song on the MySpace page is killer.

Oh, and way to make me jealous with stories of the shows you've been to. ;)

What an amazing opportunity for Luther! (How lucky are the Black Crowes to have him!) The new album is pretty awesome.
I'm digging the new jams with Hill Country Revue. Hope to catch y'all on tour soon.

Hope all is well.
